Does NutriScan show heart rate and other vitals?

Yes. NutriScan shows heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), blood oxygen, breathing rate and body temperature. It reads them from Apple Health or Health Connect and cannot record them itself. Vitals are on the Free plan and are for your own tracking, not medical advice.

How to see them

  1. Connect Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android) with Connect & Continue. One prompt covers vitals too, and it turns on the Health tiles on Home.
  2. Open Home, scroll to Report, and tap a tile: Heart rate, HRV, Blood oxygen, Breathing rate or Body temp.

The data comes from a watch or band, or from a thermometer reading logged in your health app. Nothing is typed into NutriScan. If you are not connected, the tile shows "Not Synced" and tapping it opens the Connect Health Data screen.

What each page shows

  • Tabs for 7 days and 30 days. Heart rate also has a Today tab.
  • A chart with one bar per day from the low to the high reading.
  • Stats such as Average, Latest and Days logged. Heart rate also shows Resting.
  • The latest reading and its source app.

Tiles refresh about every minute while Home is open.

Limits

  • Not every watch measures HRV, blood oxygen or breathing rate. If yours does not, the page says so.
  • A watch's wrist temperature is not shown as body temperature.
  • Each page carries reference notes, for example a typical adult breathing rate of 12 to 20 breaths a minute. They end with "For your own tracking, not medical advice."
