Can I ask NutriScan questions about what I ate?

Yes. NutriBites is a chat where you ask questions about your own meal log, such as protein this month or which meal had the most fat.

NutriBites is the chat tab in the bottom navigation. It answers from your own meal timeline, so you do not paste anything in.

How it works in the app

  1. Tap NutriBites in the bottom navigation. First time, you see a short intro and a "Chat with NutriBites" button.
  2. Pick a suggested question or type your own. Food questions include "How much protein this month?", "Which meal had most fat?", "Am I eating too many carbs?" and "Which day had most calories?".
  3. Read the answer. It can include text, tables, meal cards, a summary, insights and follow-up chips you can tap.
  4. If an answer suggests a meal, tap "Log as meal" to add it.
  5. Rate the answer with thumbs up or down. A thumbs down asks what did not work (wrong nutrition data, missing information, confusing response, harmful advice or other).

There is also a Health Data set of questions, for example about sleep, walking and weight, such as "Am I walking enough to burn what I'm eating?".

Limits

  • Free plan: a limited number of messages a week. When you run out, a "Weekly Limit Reached" card offers an upgrade.
  • Premium: unlimited messages and access to History, the list of past conversations you can search and reopen.
  • "New Chat" starts a fresh chat and is free for everyone.
  • If an answer fails, you see "Something went wrong. Please retry" with a Retry button.
