Does NutriScan track protein and macros?

Yes. Every meal you log shows calories, protein, carbs and fat, and Home tracks them against your daily targets.

Every meal shows calories, protein, carbs and fat at the top of its Nutrition Details page. A second row adds fiber, net carbs and the top micronutrients. Tap Show More to see every micronutrient and a card for each item in the meal.

How it works in the app

  1. Log a meal by photo, by typing, or by asking Monika, the voice assistant, to log it.
  2. Open the meal to see calories, protein, carbs and fat.
  3. On Home, the Today's Count card shows Protein, Carbs and Fat bars as "Xg / Yg" against your targets. A bar turns red when you go over.
  4. Tap Customize on that card to pin up to 6 more nutrients from a list of 18: fiber, net carbs, sugar, saturated fat, trans fat, omega-3, sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc and vitamins A, C, D, E, K and B12.

Fixing numbers

The Edit Macros sheet changes calories, protein, carbs, fat and micronutrients for each item. You can also change a portion, remove an item or add a missing one. A thumbs-down on "Did we get it correct?" lets you say what went wrong.

Limits

  • On the Free plan you get 5 scans a week. Every meal still shows its macros.
  • Targets come from your goal and body stats, or from numbers you set yourself. See custom calorie and macro targets.
