How to use it

Start with the crust, because that is the biggest single lever on the number. Hand Tossed and Crunchy Thin are the two options here, and the gap between them on a large cheese slice is about 75 calories.

Next pick the size. Domino's cuts a medium, large and extra large into 8 slices each, so the slice you get off a 16-inch pizza is close to twice the size of one off a 12-inch. That is why "two slices" means very different things depending on the box.

Then set the slice count. Most people log the slices they ate, not the pizza they ordered, so the counter starts at 2. Push it to 8 for the whole pizza. Sides are counted per serving rather than per piece, with garlic bread twists priced as 2 twists and boneless wings as 8 pieces. The serving is printed under each name so you can match it against the box.

The protein, carb and fat row moves with the calorie number. A large hand tossed supreme slice carries 14g of protein, more than most people expect from pizza.

What actually moves the number

Crust comes first. A large Crunchy Thin cheese slice is 210 calories with 17g of carbs. The same slice Hand Tossed is 285 calories with 36g of carbs. Order the same pizza on thin crust, eat the same four slices, and you have cut 300 calories without touching the toppings.

Size comes second. Slice count stays at 8 across medium, large and extra large, so calories per slice climb with the diameter. Medium hand tossed cheese is 200 per slice, extra large is 380. Two slices of extra large is more pizza than three slices of medium.

Toppings come third, and only the meat ones matter. Pepperoni, sausage and bacon each add roughly 45 to 80 calories per slice. Mushrooms, onions, peppers and spinach add about 5. A veggie pizza and a plain cheese pizza land in nearly the same place.

Sides count for more than people think. An 8-piece order of boneless wings is 400 calories, more than any slice on the menu, and a lava cake adds 350.

Track it in NutriScan

The calculator handles a standard order. Real orders drift, with half-and-half pizzas, extra cheese, a crust that is not in the list, or a specialty pizza carrying six toppings. When the order does not match a row here, take a photo of the pizza and let the app read it instead. NutriScan identifies the dish from an image and returns calories and macros, and the portion stays editable afterwards.

Logging the pizza also puts it in context, because the app shows the day against your calorie and macro targets. The free plan gives you 5 photo scans a week plus unlimited manual logging, water tracking and the fasting timer. Premium removes the scan cap and costs about $59 a year.

Frequently asked questions

How many calories are in a slice of Domino's pizza?

It depends on the crust and the size. A slice of medium 12-inch hand tossed cheese pizza is about 200 calories. The same slice on a large 14-inch hand tossed pizza is about 285 calories, and a slice of extra large 16-inch hand tossed cheese runs about 380 calories. Crunchy Thin cuts that a long way down: a slice of large Crunchy Thin cheese is about 210 calories.

How many calories are in a whole Domino's pizza?

Multiply the per-slice number by eight, which is how Domino's cuts a medium, large and extra large pizza. A whole medium hand tossed cheese pizza is roughly 1,600 calories, a whole large hand tossed cheese pizza is roughly 2,280 calories, and a whole large pepperoni is roughly 2,200 calories. Set the slice counter to 8 and the calculator does this for you.

Which Domino's crust has the fewest calories?

Crunchy Thin. It carries far less dough than Hand Tossed, so a large Crunchy Thin cheese slice lands near 210 calories against 285 for the same slice on Hand Tossed, and its carbs drop from about 36g to about 17g. Handmade Pan sits at the other end because the dough is pressed into an oiled pan.

Where do the numbers in this calculator come from?

Two places. Named pizzas and sides use the published values on our own Domino's nutrition pages, which you can open from the tables on this page. Plain cheese slices by crust and size come from the Domino's Nutrition Guide dated January 2026, adding the guide's own per-serving crust, garlic oil, pizza sauce and regular cheese rows together.

Do extra toppings change the calorie count much?

Meat toppings do, vegetables barely. On a medium pizza the Domino's guide puts pepperoni at about 50 calories per slice, Italian sausage at about 80, and bacon at about 45, while mushrooms, onions, green peppers and spinach are about 5 calories per slice each. Two meat toppings can add more calories than moving up a pizza size.

Values vary by store and by supplier, so treat everything here as a close estimate rather than a lab reading.
