Manage Cookie Preferences
NutriScan keeps the default cookie consent banner on every visit so you can decide how much data to share. This page is a dedicated control panel if you ever want to change your choice after accepting or dismissing the banner.
Click the button below to re-open the cookie consent banner and review every category.
Cookie Categories
| Category | Required? | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Yes | Loads NutriScan pages, remembers language selection, and keeps the consent banner working. |
| Analytics | Optional | Sends anonymous usage metrics to GA4 (Consent Mode v2) so we can detect broken flows without storing personal data. |
| Personalization | Optional | Stores your AI assistant voice/language preferences so Monika can answer with the right tone. |
| Marketing | Optional | Only used when you opt into beta waitlists; helps us measure which campaigns are effective. |
You can toggle every optional category independently—disabling one does not affect the others. When you opt out, the associated scripts are never loaded and any stored identifiers are cleared automatically by the consent library.
How the Preference Button Works
The button on this page uses the same data-cc="c-settings" hook as the floating «Manage Preferences» link in the cookie banner. Clicking it triggers the Consent Mode modal without reloading the page. If you block scripts entirely, you can still manage choices by clearing the nutriscan-consent cookie and refreshing.
Troubleshooting
- Button does nothing: Make sure JavaScript is enabled and that the page is served from
https://nutriscan.app. Local previews require the consent script to load from jsDelivr. - Preferences reset unexpectedly: Some privacy-focused browsers clear third-party scripts on restart. Re-open this page, click Update Cookie Preferences, and store the choices again.
- You need a data export: Email
privacy@nutriscan.appand include the device ID shown in Settings → Privacy inside the mobile app.
