Is Klinio Free? Klinio Pricing, Refunds and Cancel Rules

No, Klinio is not free. The app has no free plan and no open free trial. You answer a 60-second quiz, you see a price, and you pay before you ever open the meal planner. Klinio's own help center says the app is sold as a 3-month, 6-month or 12-month subscription, with prices that "may vary due to personal and seasonal discounts."
I write about app pricing for NutriScan, and Klinio was one of the harder brands to pin down this year, for one reason: the product changed its name. The app you download today is called MyBody: Health and Weight Loss. The company behind it, DIABETES SOLUTIONS UAB, still runs klinio.com. So if you searched for Klinio pricing and landed on a page about MyBody, you are in the right place.

🔍 The second charge that keeps running after you cancel (revealed near the end)
TL;DR: Klinio pricing in 30 seconds
• Free plan: no. The app is a free download, and every core feature needs a subscription
• Trial: no standing free trial; most people see a discounted first period that renews at the full rate
• Price: quiz-gated. The terms list renewals of $54.99 for 1 month, $83.97 for 3 months and $119.94 for 6 months
• Cancel: at least 48 hours before the period ends for website purchases; deleting the app cancels nothing
• Refunds: 30-day money-back only for website buyers who were offered it at checkout and can prove a 7-day streak
Klinio is now MyBody, and that matters for your bill
The iOS listing for app ID 1511958049 is MyBody: Health and Weight Loss, published by DIABETES SOLUTIONS UAB, first released on 14 July 2020 and updated to version 2.59.0 on 25 August 2026. It holds a 4.1 rating from about 1,200 US ratings. On Android, the same app sits at package diet.mydiabetes with a 4.2 rating from 4,990 reviews and 100,000+ downloads, last updated 19 August 2026.
The rename shows up in three places that affect money:
- Support now runs through help.mybody.health, not the old Klinio help center.
- Refund emails go to [email protected].
- The purchase contract sits at mybody.health/general-conditions, and the company named in it is Karma Processing Incorporated, company code 7138602, at a mailing address in Lewes, Delaware.
If you bought as "Klinio" a year ago and now see "MyBody" on your card statement or in your Apple subscriptions list, that is the same product. Several App Store reviewers missed this and searched for a Klinio entry that no longer exists.
Is there a free version of Klinio?
There is no free tier. The app is free to download, and that is the only free part. Every core feature, the diabetes-aware meal plan, the calorie and carb counter, the glucose and HbA1c log, the blood pressure log and the recipes, sits behind the subscription. The App Store listing says it plainly: the app "offers paid and auto-renewing subscription options in order to access the general functionality of the app."
One more paid item hides inside the app, and it is the one that catches people after they think they have canceled. I will come back to it once the prices and refund rules are clear, because it only makes sense after them.
Does Klinio have a free trial?
Not as a standing offer. Section 5.10 of the terms allows trials "for a limited time at a special price or without payment," and says the charge begins automatically when the trial ends. In practice, what most people are shown after the quiz is a discounted first period, not a free one. That is a paid trial, and it converts at full price unless you cancel.
If you want to test a diabetes-friendly food log before spending anything, several apps do have a working free tier. Our comparison of the best apps for tracking carbs with diabetes in 2026 lists the ones that let you log carbs without a card.

🧩 The second charge that survives a cancel (coming soon)

What does Klinio cost in 2026?
Klinio does not publish a price list on its homepage. You get a number only after the quiz, and the number depends on the discount you are shown. That makes a clean table hard, so here are the figures from sources you can check yourself.
| Source | Plan | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Klinio general conditions, renewal rates | 1 month | $54.99 |
| Klinio general conditions, renewal rates | 3 months | $83.97 |
| Klinio general conditions, renewal rates | 6 months | $119.94 |
| Klinio help center | 3, 6 and 12 months | Quiz price, varies by offer |
| Everyday Health review | 2 / 4 / 6 months | $33 / $66 / $99, with a 33 percent offer taking 6 months to $66 |
Three things stand out in that table.
The plan lengths do not match. The help center sells 3, 6 and 12 months. Everyday Health documented 2, 4 and 6 months. The terms quote renewal rates for 1, 3 and 6 months. Klinio has clearly reshuffled its plan lengths more than once, so treat any price you read in a review, including the ones above, as a snapshot rather than a quote.
The intro price is not the ongoing price. This is the single most expensive detail to miss. Section 5.11 of the terms says a discount "might be applied only for the first charge and any further recurring subscription charges will be charged at regular prices." A $33 start can renew at $83.97.
The prices are in US dollars. Section 5.4 of the terms sets that, so outside the United States your bank converts at its own rate and the amount that lands on your statement will not match the checkout number exactly.
The renewal clause most people never read
Klinio bills on automatic renewal, in capital letters in the contract. Section 5.8.1 renews your plan for a period equal to the last one, so a 6-month purchase becomes another 6 months, charged in one lump.
The renewal rate lives in section 5.8.3, not on the checkout button
Section 5.8.3 lists the rates renewals fall back to: $54.99 for one month, $83.97 for three months, $119.94 for six months, and it warns those may be "higher or lower than the rates for the original service period."
Section 5.8.4 sets the deadline. You must cancel at least 48 hours before the current period ends. That is stricter than the app stores, which stop a renewal up to 24 hours before. If you bought on the website, follow the website deadline.
Section 5.8.6 covers the trap that fills the review pages: deleting the app does not cancel anything. The help center repeats it. A subscription bought through Apple or Google can only be stopped inside your Apple or Google account.

Klinio refunds: two policies, and only one is generous
Klinio runs a 30-day money-back guarantee and a much narrower general refund rule. Which one applies to you depends on where you paid and what you were offered at checkout.
The 30-day money-back policy applies only if you bought directly on the website and "were explicitly offered a money-back option during checkout." To qualify, you must email [email protected] within 30 days of the first purchase, and prove you followed the plan for at least 7 consecutive days on a monthly or longer plan, or 3 consecutive days on a weekly plan. Proof means a screen recording or screenshots of your streak number on the home screen. Klinio reviews the request and answers by email.
The general terms are tighter. Section 6.2.1 says the company's policy "is not to offer refunds for purchased Digital Content, except in cases where the Digital Content is found to be not as described or faulty," and gives you 14 days with visual proof. The help center's refund article repeats that 14-day faulty-product rule and adds two useful facts: a partial refund leaves your access running to the end of the period, and a full refund ends access at once.
Two more rules worth knowing before you click anything:
- Deleting your account does not create a refund right. Section 6.2.3 says account deletion is irrevocable and does not imply any right to a refund, so ask first, delete later.
- A chargeback stops the process. The help center says that if you dispute the charge with your card provider, Klinio will not refund the transaction directly, and the bank case can take months.
App Store and Google Play purchases sit outside all of this. Klinio does not control them, and points you to Apple's and Google's own refund request forms.
How to cancel Klinio (MyBody) step by step
The cancel path depends entirely on where you bought. Work through these in order.
- Find out where you paid. Check your email receipt. A receipt from Apple or Google means the store owns the subscription. A receipt from the website means Klinio does.
- Website purchases: log in at client.klinio.com. The help center points web buyers to client.klinio.com, where you log in with your account details and cancel from the subscription screen.
- iPhone purchases: cancel in Settings. Open Settings ➡️ your name ➡️ Subscriptions ➡️ MyBody ➡️ Cancel Subscription. Apple's own subscription page covers the variations. Look for MyBody, not Klinio.
- Android purchases: cancel in Google Play. Open the Play Store ➡️ profile icon ➡️ Payments and subscriptions ➡️ Subscriptions ➡️ MyBody ➡️ Cancel. Google documents the flow here.
- Check for a second line item. If your subscriptions list shows more than one MyBody entry, cancel each one. The section below explains why.
- Do it at least 48 hours early, and keep the confirmation. The terms use a 48-hour window for website subscriptions. Screenshot the confirmation screen. If the option is missing, email [email protected] or use the Submit a request button in the help center.
What the research says about paying for a diabetes app
A subscription is easier to justify when the category has evidence behind it, so here is what the recent work shows. Note that Klinio does not publish peer-reviewed results of its own. Everyday Health's dietitian reviewers flagged exactly that: the site cites an average 7.3 percent body weight loss in the first year and a 0.5 percent HbA1c drop in 85 days without naming a source.
The category-level evidence is real but modest. A 2025 meta-analysis of 7 randomized trials in 490 older adults with diabetes found that mHealth app use lowered HbA1c, with a pooled effect of Hedges g -0.40 (95 percent CI -0.75 to -0.06) (Azevedo et al., 2025).
For weight, a 2025 systematic review of 11 trials with 1,717 participants found app-based diet and exercise tracking cut body weight at 4 to 6 months, with a standardized mean difference of -0.33 (95 percent CI -0.48 to -0.17) and a BMI drop of 0.76 points (Pujia et al., 2025).
A 2025 randomized trial of a behavioral app in type 2 diabetes reported an HbA1c drop of 0.4 percent in the app group after 12 weeks, against 0.3 percent in the control group, which is a reminder that a large part of the benefit comes from paying attention at all (Ruiz-Leon et al., 2025).
Cooking the meal is the easy part; logging what ends up on the plate is the habit the studies reward
The active ingredient looks like the logging, not the brand. In a study of 90 adults using app-based dietary self-monitoring, consistent weekly logging predicted percent weight loss over 8 weeks, and the group lost a mean of 1.5 kg (Payne et al., 2022).
Carbohydrate counting, which is the core skill Klinio teaches, holds up on its own. A 2023 systematic review and meta-analysis of 9 studies in pediatric type 1 diabetes found carbohydrate counting reduced HbA1c by a mean difference of 0.55 percent, though heterogeneity was high at 88 percent (Wiyono et al., 2023). If you want a starting carb target to count against, our diabetes macro calculator gives one in a minute.
None of that is a verdict on Klinio specifically. It says the method works when you use it, which is the case for any app you actually open.

✨ The second charge that survives a cancel (about to reveal)
The second charge that keeps billing after you cancel
Workouts are sold separately. In Klinio's own words, "workout subscriptions are excluded from the general subscription and are available as a separate subscription-based purchase." That means one account can carry two active charges: the meal plan and the workout add-on.
The help center confirms the other half of the problem: canceling the workout add-on leaves the main app subscription running. Because they are two separate subscriptions, each one is canceled on its own. If you only cancel the plan you remember buying, the other can keep billing.
So when you cancel, open your subscriptions list one more time afterward and confirm that no MyBody line is still active.

Who Klinio fits, and who should skip it
Klinio fits you if you want a decided plan. The app hands you a meal schedule built around your diabetes type, medication and food preferences, plus a grocery list. If choosing what to eat is the part that defeats you, that structure is worth paying for.
It also fits if you want glucose, HbA1c and blood pressure logs in the same place as your food log, which is an uncommon pairing outside of diabetes-specific apps. Our look at the HealthifyMe CGM plan cost covers the other way people buy that combination.
Skip it if any of these describe you:
- You want to try before paying. There is no free tier, and the app stores are full of reviewers who regret a 6-month commitment made on a quiz page.
- You log unusual or homemade foods. The most repeated complaint in App Store reviews is a small food database and clumsy custom entries.
- You want month-to-month flexibility. The shortest plan the help center lists is three months.
- You need a coach, not an algorithm. Klinio is software with support email, not a dietitian service. Coaching apps like the ones in our Noom pricing breakdown sell a different thing.
Seven things to check before you pay
- Screenshot the checkout page. Capture the plan length, the price and the renewal line. If billing goes wrong later, that screenshot is your evidence.
- Read the small print under the price. That is where the intro-versus-renewal difference lives, and it is the difference between $33 and $83.97.
- Ask whether a money-back option was offered. The 30-day guarantee only exists if it was presented at checkout. If you did not see it, you are under the 14-day faulty-product rule instead.
- Buy through the website if refunds worry you. Store purchases hand refund control to Apple or Google, and Klinio steps out of the loop.
- Start your streak on day one. The refund conditions need proof of 7 consecutive days on the plan. If you are not sure about the app, use it anyway for that first week so the option stays open.
- Decline the workout add-on until you need it. It is a separate recurring charge with a separate cancel step.
- Set a calendar reminder three days before renewal. The 48-hour website deadline is easy to miss on a 6-month cycle you stopped thinking about five months ago.
Where NutriScan fits
I work for NutriScan, so weigh this section with that in mind. NutriScan (150k+ downloads, 4.6 stars) is a food tracker first. It does not log glucose, HbA1c or blood pressure, so it does not replace Klinio's health logs. What it does is make the carb side of the day quick to track.
You take a photo of your meal, tag the food type and cooking method, and the app estimates calories, protein, carbs and fat, which you can correct. The free plan includes 5 meal scans a week.

Home > Camera Icon > Click Picture
Each logged meal opens a nutrition page that shows fiber, net carbs and sugar next to the main macros, which is the view that matters when you count carbs.

Home > Meal Item
With Premium, the diet plan form has a Diabetes goal. NutriScan builds a 28-day plan with two options per meal and a daily target for calories, protein, carbs, fat and fiber, then turns it into a weekly or monthly grocery list.

Bottom Nav > Diet Plan
Premium removes the scan limit and unlocks the diet plan for about $59 a year. The details are on our NutriScan pricing page.
The verdict on Klinio pricing
IMPORTANT
Recap: everything you checked this round.
You finished the run. Save this before you pay.
⏱️ Progress 4/4 • ~12 minutes in • Nicely done
✅ Step 1: No free plan; the usual "trial" is a discounted first period
✅ Step 2: Renewals of $54.99, $83.97 and $119.94 per the terms; intro discounts cover the first charge only
✅ Step 3: Cancel 48 hours early where you paid; the 30-day refund needs a checkout offer and a 7-day streak
✅ The second charge: the workout add-on, canceled separately (revealed)
Klinio is not free, it does not offer a standing free trial, and the price you are quoted after the quiz is usually an introductory one. The public numbers you can verify are the renewal rates in the terms, $54.99 for a month, $83.97 for three months and $119.94 for six months, plus the older $33, $66 and $99 tiers a reviewer documented. The refund path is real but conditional, and the 48-hour cancel deadline is tighter than the one Apple and Google use.
If the structure is what you need and you plan to log daily, that is a fair trade. If you mainly want to see what you are eating before committing to a program, start by logging your meals for a week with a photo scan app like NutriScan, then decide whether a paid plan adds anything. Either way, build the habit first. As our 7-day diet plan for diabetic patients shows, the plan is the easy part, the logging is what moves the numbers.
Frequently asked questions
Is Klinio free to try?
No. The download is free, the app is not. Every feature needs a subscription, and Klinio's terms describe trials only as a limited-time offer at a special price, which then charges automatically unless you cancel first.
How much does Klinio cost per month?
It depends on the plan length and the offer you were shown. The terms list renewal rates of $54.99 for one month, $83.97 for three months and $119.94 for six months, which works out at about $20 a month on the six-month plan. A reviewer documented intro pricing as low as $33 for two months.
Why is the app called MyBody now?
Klinio was renamed MyBody: Health and Weight Loss. The publisher, DIABETES SOLUTIONS UAB, is unchanged, but the help center, the support email and the terms now sit on mybody.health. Look for MyBody in your Apple or Google subscriptions list.
Can I get a refund from Klinio?
Sometimes. If you bought on the website and were offered a money-back option at checkout, you can request a refund within 30 days by emailing [email protected] with proof that you followed the plan for 7 consecutive days. Otherwise the terms allow refunds only for faulty content, within 14 days. Store purchases go through Apple or Google.
How do I cancel Klinio so it does not renew?
Cancel where you bought it: client.klinio.com for website purchases, Settings then Subscriptions on iPhone, Play Store subscriptions on Android. Do it at least 48 hours before the period ends, cancel any workout add-on separately, and remember that deleting the app leaves the billing running.
Why was I charged twice by Klinio?
Usually the workout add-on or a renewal. Workouts are a separate subscription, and each subscription is canceled on its own. A second charge can also be the full-price renewal after a discounted first period.
