Keto Cycle pricing 2026: app store plan prices, the 14-day refund rule, auto-renewal and how to cancel

Keto Cycle is not free, and the US App Store lists its plans from $32.99 for one month to $65.99 for six months, according to the Keto Cycle: Keto Diet App page. The app downloads at no charge. The meal plan, the tracker and the recipes sit behind a subscription that renews on its own.

I work on the NutriScan team, which makes a food tracking app, so treat this as a competitor's reading of public documents. Every price and rule below comes from Keto Cycle's terms, its FAQ, its help center, the app store listings and customer reviews, and each one is linked so you can check it.

Prices checked on October 20, 2026 against the App Store listing, the FAQ and the terms. The help center quotes below are from my October 8 read. Keto Cycle shows its website offer only after a sign-up quiz, so your checkout page may show different numbers.

Here is the checklist I worked through, and the last item is the one most buyers skip:

  • Plan prices on the US App Store
  • Which of three refund rules applies to you
  • The 48-hour cancel deadline
  • What reviewers say about billing
  • The one habit that avoids most renewal complaints (it comes right before the FAQ)

Starting with the prices.

TL;DR: Keto Cycle pricing at a glance

  • No free plan. The App Store lists a 1 month plan at $32.99, 3 months plans at $32.99 and $45.99, and 6 months plans at $45.99 and $65.99.
  • On the website, the help center names 2-month, 4-month and 6-month plans and shows the price only after a quiz.
  • Every plan renews automatically. The terms ask you to cancel "at least 48 hours before the end of current period".
  • Refunds need proof that the product was "not as described or faulty". The terms and the FAQ give you 14 days, and the help center says 30 days.
  • A website purchase is canceled on the website, not in the app and not in your Apple or Google account.

Is Keto Cycle free? The quick answer

No. Keto Cycle is a paid keto meal plan and tracking app. The quiz that builds your plan costs nothing, and it ends at an offer page with a price.

The company's own FAQ answers the price question this way: "Once you complete the questionnaire, you'll see the current available price of the plan." The same page has a question titled "Why do we charge for our meal plan?", so the company does not present a free option.

What you can do for free is small. You can download the app, take the quiz and, per the FAQ, "see a snippet of the meal plan before buying it" at the bottom of your summary page. The full 28-day plan, the shopping list and the tracking tools start after payment.

Who runs Keto Cycle

The seller on both app stores is KETO DIETS UAB, a company in Vilnius, Lithuania. The Google Play listing gives the developer address as Aludariu g. 3, Vilnius, and a developer contact email at the kilo.health domain. That points to Kilo Health, the Vilnius company covered in our DoFasting pricing guide.

The contacts page names "Karma Processing Incorporated" as the "Subscriptions and support provider for US customers", so a charge with that name can be your plan.

Two details on these pages do not match: the contacts page and the terms list different company codes, and the homepage, About page and help center give three different customer counts (380,000, 340,000 and 270,000 active subscribers). None of this changes the price. It tells you the public pages are not all kept current, which matters when the same pages set your refund window.

Keto Cycle price list: what is public and what is not

Keto Cycle has two checkouts, and they do not show the same plans.

The website. The help center says: "Keto Cycle currently offers multiple subscription options: 2-month, 4-month, and 6-month plans." It gives no dollar amounts and says "Meal plan prices vary due to seasonal and personalized discounts." I did not walk through the quiz to a checkout, so I cannot report a website price I saw myself.

The app stores. The App Store shows a public list of in-app purchases, and this is the only price list I could find for Keto Cycle. These are the items on the US App Store page on October 20, 2026:

In-app purchaseUS price
1 month plan$32.99
3 months plan$32.99
3 months plan$45.99
6 months plan$45.99
6 months plan$65.99
12 months$59.99
Annual plan$65.99
Personalized workout program$14.99
Keto desserts book$9.99
Priority delivery$4.99

Apple does not say which price a new buyer sees. Two prices for the same plan length can mean an older and a newer offer, or a discounted and a full one. The listing does not label them.

One outside source helps place the website price. Eat This Much, a competing meal planner, lists Keto Cycle at "From ~$2.54/wk (billed every 6 months)" in its keto app comparison, dated May 2026. Twenty-six weeks at $2.54 is $66.04, close to the $65.99 six-month item on the App Store.

The terms add a currency note. Section 5.4 of the general conditions says "All prices and costs are in Euros unless otherwise indicated", so buyers outside the eurozone should check the currency on the checkout page.

What Keto Cycle costs over a year

A plan length is a billing cycle, so the yearly cost depends on how many times it renews. This table uses the App Store prices above and assumes each renewal costs the same as the first charge.

PlanCharges per yearYearly cost
1 month at $32.9912$395.88
3 months at $32.994$131.96
3 months at $45.994$183.96
6 months at $45.992$91.98
6 months at $65.992$131.98
12 months at $59.991$59.99
Annual plan at $65.991$65.99

Bar chart of one year of Keto Cycle by App Store plan: 1 month plan 12 times $395.88, 3 months at $45.99 four times $183.96, 3 months at $32.99 four times $131.96, 6 months at $65.99 twice $131.98, 6 months at $45.99 twice $91.98, annual plan $65.99, 12 months $59.99Figure 1: The 1 month plan costs $395.88 over a year, more than six times the 12 months item at $59.99.

The monthly plan costs more than six times the 12-month plan over a year. That gap is the reason to decide how long you want keto before you pick a plan, not after.

The assumption in this table can fail in one direction. Section 5.7.3 of the terms says: "Renewals will be charged at Company's then-current rates, which Client acknowledges and agrees may be higher or lower than the rates for the original service period." It also says the price shown in an offer "might be valid only for the initial term of your Subscription". A discounted first term can renew at a higher number.

Renewal price can change

Section 5.7.3 of the terms lets Keto Cycle renew at its "then-current rates", higher or lower than your first charge. Treat the first price as a floor, not a promise.

The workout program at $14.99 and the desserts book at $9.99 are separate purchases.

Does Keto Cycle have a free trial?

Keto Cycle does not advertise a standing free trial. The terms allow one. Section 5.8.1 says the company "may offer the trials of paid subscriptions for the limited time at a special price or without payment", and then: "The Company will automatically begin charging the Client for the subscription on the first day following the end of the Trial".

Customer reviews show both kinds of trial in use:

  • A reviewer on December 30, 2024 wrote: "I downloaded this app and paid $7 for a one-week trial." They report a $31 charge after the trial ended.
  • The reviewer from January 9, 2025 wrote that their $60 purchase "included a 7 day free trial".

So a trial is an offer you may or may not see, and it can be paid. In both cases the trial ends in a full subscription charge unless you cancel first. The terms put the duty on you: "If Client doesn't want to be charged, he must cancel the subscription before the end of the Trial."

Keto Cycle refund policy: three pages, three answers

Progress check:

  • Done: plan prices and the yearly math
  • Reading now: the refund rules
  • Still ahead: cancel steps, reviewer complaints and the habit that avoids surprise charges

This is the part I would read twice before paying. Keto Cycle describes its refund rule in three places, and the three do not agree.

SourceTime limitWhat it says you can get
General conditions, section 6.2.114 days from purchaseA refund "only if the Client proves the product to be not as described or faulty", with "visual proof attached"
FAQ14 days"You can get a partial refund by contacting our customer support"
Help center30 days from purchaseA refund "in cases where the product is proven to be faulty or not as described", with visual proof

All three share one condition. You must show that the plan did not match its description or did not work. Changing your mind is not on any of the lists.

The terms explain why. Section 4.3 says that when the purchase is digital content "THE CLIENT AGREES TO LOSE HIS/HER RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL OF THE AGREEMENT". Section 6.2 says "All prices and fees for Digital content and Services are not refundable unless otherwise expressly noted". The 14-day cooling-off right that EU buyers expect is waived at checkout.

A few more refund rules from the same documents:

  • A refund ends your access. The terms say "Once a refund is issued, Client no longer has the access to Company's Services."
  • The help center says approved refunds "may take up to 14 working days to reach your account".
  • Deleting your account does not create a refund right. Section 6.6 says so directly.
  • For a purchase made through Apple or Google, the company does not handle the refund. You ask Apple or Google Play.

If you want a refund, I would act inside 14 days, because that is the shortest window in writing and the terms are the binding document. Send the request to [email protected] from your sign-up email, attach screenshots of the fault, and quote the product description that it failed to match.

Auto-renewal: the 48-hour rule and the renewal price

Every plan renews. The help center says: "All Keto Cycle subscription plans renew automatically at the end of the selected period." Section 5.7.1 of the terms sets the renewal period equal to the most recent service period. A six-month plan renews for six more months.

Three rules decide if a renewal charge can be avoided:

  1. The deadline is 48 hours before the period ends. Section 5.7.4 says the client "may elect to cancel the subscription at least 48 hours before the end of current period".
  2. The renewal price can differ from the first price. Section 5.7.3, quoted above, allows a higher rate.
  3. Canceling stops the next charge, not the current one. Section 5.7.4 says services end "upon expiration of the then current term". You keep access until then and you do not get money back for the unused part.

Customers describe what this looks like in practice. A reviewer on December 20, 2025 wrote: "If you do not cancel or forget to cancel, they will continue to collect your money every 6 months nonstop." Another on February 2, 2025 reported a $79 renewal charge with no notification.

Five tips that follow from these rules:

  1. Write down the renewal date on the day you buy. A six-month cycle is long enough to forget.
  2. Set a reminder seven days before that date, not two, so the 48-hour limit is never close.
  3. Save the confirmation email. It holds the order ID the help center asks for.
  4. Note which checkout you used. The cancel path depends on it.
  5. If you paid with PayPal, check the automatic payments list in your PayPal settings after you cancel on the website.

How to cancel Keto Cycle

The path depends on where you paid. The help center cancel article lists three.

Bought on ketocycle.diet

  1. Log in to your account on the Keto Cycle website, "not the app", with your email and password.
  2. Go to My Profile, then Manage your subscription.
  3. Cancel there and screenshot the confirmation.

If you cannot log in, the article says you can send a cancellation request through the Contact us form in the help center.

Bought through Google Play. Cancel in your Google account using Google's steps.

Bought through the App Store. Cancel in your Apple account using Apple's steps.

The terms are firm about mixing these up. Section 5.7.5 says a website subscription cannot be controlled "through the Apple App Store or Google Play". Section 5.7.6 says "deleting the app does not cancel the subscriptions". The help center gives the practical version: "if Keto Cycle doesn't appear in your Apple subscriptions, check on the Keto Cycle website." One App Store reviewer hit exactly this on January 1, 2025: "The subscription also doesn't show in your App Store subscriptions."

One more option: you can pause. The pause article says you can pause a website subscription for "up to 30 days" from the Subscription page of your profile. Deleting your account cancels a website plan but brings no refund, per the terms.

If you need a person, the contact article lists the help center form, live chat and [email protected]. The help center says requests are first handled by an AI tool, and you may escalate to a human agent.

What you get for the money

Halfway through the checklist:

  • Done: prices, refund rules, the 48-hour deadline, cancel steps
  • Next: what the money buys and what reviewers say
  • Still waiting: the habit that avoids most renewal complaints

The website FAQ describes the core product: "a list of recipes to follow a keto diet for the whole 28 days (five recipes per day) and a shopping list". The plan is digital only, and each recipe is a single serving.

The App Store description lists more:

  • A meal planner with "10,000+ delicious recipes", including vegetarian and vegan options
  • A macro and calorie tracker with a barcode scanner and a restaurant menu finder
  • Ketosis, weight, step and water tracking
  • Workouts of 10 to 30 minutes
  • A beginner guide called Keto Academy
  • A community the listing puts at 60,000 active members

The app is iPhone only on Apple devices, needs iOS 15.1 or later and is in English. The App Store shows version 2.18.27, and the Google Play page shows "Updated on Oct 31, 2025". On the day I checked, that was almost twelve months without a release on Android.

What users say about billing and the app

I read the 100 most recent US App Store reviews, dated May 7, 2024 to March 14, 2026. Sixty-two gave one star and 25 gave four or five stars. Fifty-five of the 100 used a billing word such as charge, refund, cancel, renew or subscription, and 47 of those 55 were one-star reviews.

Donut chart of 100 recent US App Store reviews: 47 are one-star reviews that mention billing, 8 mention billing with other ratings, 45 do not mention billingFigure 2: 55 of 100 recent reviews use a billing word, and 47 of those are one-star.

That sample is recent written reviews only. The overall rating is higher: 4.1 from 5.6K ratings on the App Store and 4.2 from 9.13K reviews on Google Play. On Trustpilot it holds 3.4 from 4,371 reviews.

The complaints repeat three themes:

  • Renewals nobody expected. "I was charged $80.67 for no reason and without authorization or notice!" (March 23, 2025).
  • Refunds smaller than hoped. One reviewer on January 1, 2025 asked for a refund minutes after a renewal and "was only offered an $8 refund". A Trustpilot reviewer on February 26, 2026 took the case to PayPal and "ended up getting a 25% refund".
  • A thin food database. "Their database for the scanner is extremely limited" (January 9, 2025).

The praise is about the recipes and the structure. A reviewer on February 4, 2026 wrote: "Keto Cycle has delicious recipes that are simple and filling".

Reviews are self-selected. I read the pattern as a billing design problem more than a product problem: long cycles, automatic renewal and a cancel page that sits outside the app.

What the research says about keto and app tracking

Keto Cycle's homepage carries a quote calling keto "the magic pill that gets your body healthy". The published evidence is more modest.

The strongest summary I found is an umbrella review in BMC Medicine (Patikorn et al., 2023). It pooled 17 meta-analysis papers covering 68 randomized trials. It rated the evidence for lower body weight as moderate quality, and it found that keto "was associated with a clinically meaningful increase in LDL-C". The trials were short: the median follow-up was 13 weeks. A six-month subscription lasts about twice as long as the typical study behind the claims.

The first weeks can also feel rough. A study of online forum posts in Frontiers in Nutrition (Bostock et al., 2020) found that 101 of 300 users described "keto flu" symptoms, most often headache, fatigue, nausea and dizziness. Reports peaked in the first weeks and dwindled after four weeks. Among the 60 users who described severity, 22 called it severe. Keto Cycle's own FAQ says keto "is usually very safe" and tells people on diabetes or blood pressure medication, and people who are breastfeeding, to talk to a doctor first.

The tracking side has better support. A systematic review in Obesity (Patel et al., 2021) looked at 39 studies and found that "Greater digital self-monitoring was linked to weight loss in 74% of occurrences." It also found that few programs kept people logging on 75% of days or more.

My reading of these three papers: a keto plan can lower weight in the short term, the cholesterol effect deserves a blood test, and the logging habit does a large share of the work in any app.

Who Keto Cycle is worth paying for

Keto Cycle fits a narrow group well:

  • You have decided on keto and want a 28-day menu handed to you.
  • You cook single servings and like following recipes with a shopping list.
  • You are comfortable setting a renewal reminder and canceling on a website.

It fits poorly if you want to test keto for two weeks, if you eat mostly your own meals and need a large food database, or if you dislike prepaying for months. For a keto tracker with a free tier, our Carb Manager pricing guide covers what that app gives away and what it charges for. For another quiz-priced meal plan with similar refund terms, see our Klinio pricing guide.

Talk to a doctor first

People with diabetes, high blood pressure, high LDL cholesterol, kidney disease or a pregnancy should speak with a doctor before starting any ketogenic plan. Keto Cycle's terms say the same in section 12.1.

How to buy Keto Cycle without losing money: 5 steps

This is the last item on the checklist, and it is one habit: decide the cancel date on the day you buy. Every billing complaint above started with a charge nobody saw coming, and steps 2 and 5 below take about two minutes.

  1. Pick the checkout on purpose. A purchase inside the iPhone or Android app is managed, canceled and refunded through Apple or Google. A website purchase is managed only on ketocycle.diet.
  2. Screenshot the offer page. Capture the first price, the plan length, the renewal price and the renewal date before you pay.
  3. Choose the shortest plan you would finish. If you are unsure about keto, a short plan costs more per week and less in total than a six-month plan you stop using.
  4. Test everything in the first 14 days. Open the meal plan, the shopping list, the scanner and the tracker. If something is faulty or not as described, email [email protected] with screenshots inside 14 days.
  5. Cancel a week before renewal and keep proof. Pick the date the day you buy. Use My Profile, then Manage your subscription on the website, and save the confirmation screen and email.

Tracking food with a free tier

Woman in a kitchen with her hands on her hips asking if you are hungryIf the real goal is knowing what you eat, a tracker does that job.

If your goal is knowing what you eat, a food tracker costs less than a prepaid meal plan. NutriScan, the app my team makes, has a Free plan with 5 AI food scans a week and a Premium plan at about $59 a year, and the plans are listed without a quiz in our pricing breakdown. It has no fixed 28-day keto menu, so it does not replace what Keto Cycle sells. If you only need keto targets, the online macro calculator sets a carb limit and splits the rest of your calories, and Meal Scan shows how a photo log works.

Keto Cycle pricing FAQ

Is Keto Cycle free?

No. The app is free to download, and the meal plan, tracker and recipes need a paid subscription. The US App Store lists plans from $32.99 for 1 month to $65.99 for 6 months.

How much does Keto Cycle cost per month?

The App Store lists a 1 month plan at $32.99. Longer plans cost less per month: the 6 months plan at $65.99 works out to about $11 a month, and the 12 months item at $59.99 to about $5 a month. The website sells 2-month, 4-month and 6-month plans and shows the price after a quiz, per the help center.

Does Keto Cycle have a free trial?

Not as a standing offer. The terms allow trials "at a special price or without payment" and say billing starts on the first day after the trial ends. Reviewers describe both a $7 one-week trial and a 7 day free trial.

Can I get a refund from Keto Cycle?

Only if you can show the product was faulty or not as described. The terms and the FAQ set a 14-day limit, the help center says 30 days, and the FAQ describes the refund as partial. Apple and Google handle refunds for purchases made in their stores.

How do I cancel Keto Cycle?

For a website purchase, log in on ketocycle.diet, open My Profile, then Manage your subscription, and cancel at least 48 hours before the period ends. For a store purchase, cancel in your Apple or Google account. Deleting the app does not cancel anything.
