Is Perfect Body Free? Pricing, Refund and Cancel Rules

Perfect Body is not free, and the US App Store lists its plans from $19.99 for one month to $79.99 for twelve months, according to the Perfect Body - Meal planner page. The app downloads at no charge. The personalized meal plan starts after you subscribe, and the workout program is a separate purchase.
I work on the NutriScan team, which makes a food tracking app, so treat this as a competitor's reading of public documents. Every price and rule below comes from Perfect Body's terms, its help center, the app store listings, one published hands-on review and customer reviews, and each one is linked so you can check it.
Prices checked on October 21, 2026. Perfect Body shows its website offer only after a sign-up quiz, so your checkout page may show different numbers.
Here is what I checked, in order:
- □ What the App Store and the website charge
- □ What a full year costs on each plan
- □ How the add-ons stack up
- □ The refund and cancel rules
- □ The cheapest way to buy it, and the catch that comes with it (revealed in the buying guide near the end)
IMPORTANT
Perfect Body pricing at a glance
- No free plan. The App Store lists a 1 month plan at $19.99, 3 months plans at $38.99 and $39.99, a 6 months plan at $51.99 and 12 months items from $39.99 to $79.99.
- On the website, the help center names 1-month, 3-month and 6-month subscriptions and shows the price only after a quiz.
- Add-ons are separate purchases. The App Store lists a workout program at $14.99, and reviewers report several subscriptions billing at once.
- Every plan renews automatically. The terms ask you to cancel "at least 48 hours before the end of current period".
- Refunds need proof that the product was "not as described or faulty", sent within 30 days of purchase.
Is Perfect Body free? The quick answer
No. Perfect Body is a paid meal plan app for weight loss. The quiz that builds your plan costs nothing, and it ends at an offer page with a price.
The App Store description states the order of events plainly. The first step under "HOW IT WORKS?" is "Subscribe to Perfect Body". The plan, the recipes and the trackers come after that step. The same description labels home workouts as "(Paid Feature)", so the base subscription does not cover everything the listing shows.
What you can do for free is small. You can download the app and take the quiz. A Forbes Health editor who tested the product wrote that "Pricing information is not available until after you complete the online questionnaire", in a review published on July 21, 2025.
Who runs Perfect Body
The seller on both app stores is KETO DIETS UAB, a company in Vilnius, Lithuania. The Google Play listing gives the developer address as Aludariu g. 3, Vilnius, and a developer contact email at the kilo.health domain. That points to Kilo Health, the Vilnius company covered in our DoFasting pricing guide.
The terms name the same company. Section 2.1 of the general conditions defines the seller as UAB "KETO DIETS", company code 305493532, and makes it responsible for "refunds chargebacks" and the subscription itself.
Two recent App Store reviewers say they were billed for Kure, a hypnosis app from the same group, after buying Perfect Body. One wrote on February 10, 2026 that they canceled Perfect Body and kept being charged for Kure, and added: "I never signed up for it". See our Kure pricing guide.
Perfect Body price list: what is public and what is not
Perfect Body has two checkouts, and they do not show the same plans.
The website. The help center says: "Currently, Perfect Body offers three subscription options. You can choose between a 1-, 3-, and 6-month subscription." It gives no dollar amounts and says "Prices vary due to seasonal and personalized discounts." I did not walk through the quiz to a checkout, so I cannot report a website price I saw myself.
The Forbes Health editor did complete the quiz, and reported these offers in July 2025:
| Website offer seen by Forbes Health | Price |
|---|---|
| Seven-day plan | $24.99 |
| One-month plan | $49, charged once a month |
| Three-month plan | $84.99, charged every three months |
The app stores. The App Store shows a public list of in-app purchases. These are the items on the US App Store page on October 21, 2026:
| In-app purchase | US price |
|---|---|
| 1 month | $19.99 |
| 3 months plan | $38.99 |
| 3 months | $39.99 |
| 6 months plan | $51.99 |
| 12 months | $39.99 |
| 12 months | $59.99 |
| 12 months | $79.99 |
| Annual plan | $66.99 |
| Personalized workout program | $14.99 |
| Priority delivery | $4.99 |
Apple does not say which price a new buyer sees. Three prices for the same 12-month length can mean older and newer offers, or discounted and full ones. The listing does not label them.
Customer reviews help place the website numbers. An App Store reviewer on October 22, 2025 wrote: "I was not warned that I would be charged $85." Another on May 21, 2026 reported a renewal of $84.99. Both match the three-month price Forbes Health recorded. A Google Play reviewer described "7 charges at $67 each", which is close to the $66.99 annual item on the App Store.
The terms add a currency note. Section 5.4 says "All prices and costs are in Euros unless otherwise indicated", so buyers outside the eurozone should check the currency on the checkout page.
What Perfect Body costs over a year
A plan length is a billing cycle, so the yearly cost depends on how many times it renews. This table uses the prices above and assumes each renewal costs the same as the first charge.
| Plan | Charges per year | Yearly cost |
|---|---|---|
| App Store, 1 month at $19.99 | 12 | $239.88 |
| App Store, 3 months at $38.99 | 4 | $155.96 |
| App Store, 6 months at $51.99 | 2 | $103.98 |
| App Store, annual plan at $66.99 | 1 | $66.99 |
| App Store, 12 months at $39.99 | 1 | $39.99 |
| Website, one month at $49 | 12 | $588.00 |
| Website, three months at $84.99 | 4 | $339.96 |
The monthly App Store plan costs about six times the cheapest 12-month item over a year. The website prices Forbes Health saw cost more than double the App Store prices for the same length. I cannot tell you which offer you will get, because the company sets it after the quiz.
The assumption in this table can fail in one direction. Section 5.7.3 of the terms says: "Renewals will be charged at Company's then-current rates, which Client acknowledges and agrees may be higher or lower than the rates for the original service period." It also says the price shown in an offer "might be valid only for the initial term of your Subscription". A discounted first term can renew at a higher number.
Figure 1: Yearly cost by plan if every renewal matches the first charge. The website one-month offer costs about 15 times the cheapest App Store 12-month item.
Food costs more than the app. The Forbes Health editor reported $240 for one week of ingredients at Trader Joe's.
Checked off: prices and the yearly math. Next is the part that surprises people most, and the cheapest-route question is still open.

The add-ons: where one purchase becomes several
This is the part I would read carefully before paying. The plan price is the first screen of the checkout, and more offers follow it.
Three sources describe the same pattern:
- The App Store lists a "Personalized workout program" at $14.99 as its own item, and the description marks workouts as a paid feature.
- Forbes Health reported that workouts cost "a one-time additional payment" and that a nutrition consultation is available "for an additional fee".
- Trustpilot's summary of recent reviews on the Perfect Body page says: "Many people reported that additional services were automatically added during registration".
Reviewers give the detail. One wrote on the App Store on September 23, 2025: "I ended up paying $3.79 for a 1 month subscription and then an additional $9.90 for a workout plan." They also accepted a coaching offer, canceled everything later, and were then charged $19.99 for the coaching item, which they say did not cancel. Another wrote on February 6, 2026: "You think you're signing up for one subscription but they get you with 4 different ones all $20 each." Their warning for the cancel step was that "only one will show up".
I cannot verify how many items a given checkout adds. Treat each accepted offer as its own subscription until your account page shows otherwise.
Checking the confirmation email and finding more lines than you expected
Does Perfect Body have a free trial?
Perfect Body does not advertise a standing free trial in its help center or its app store listings. The terms allow one. Section 5.8.1 says the company "may offer the trials of paid subscriptions for the limited time at a special price or without payment", and then: "The Company will automatically begin charging the Client for the subscription on the first day following the end of the Trial".
The short option Forbes Health saw was paid: a seven-day plan at $24.99. One App Store reviewer on April 13, 2026 does mention canceling during a free trial, so some buyers appear to receive one.
Perfect Body refund policy: 30 days, with proof
Perfect Body's refund rule is narrow, and the terms and the help center agree on it.
| Source | Time limit | What it says you can get |
|---|---|---|
| General conditions, section 6.2.1 | 30 days from purchase | A refund "only if the Client proves the product to be not as described or faulty", with "visual proof attached" |
| Help center | 30 days from purchase | A refund "in cases where the product is proven to be faulty or not as described", with details and visual proof |
You must show that the plan did not match its description or did not work. Changing your mind is not on the list.
Section 4.3 says that when the purchase is digital content "THE CLIENT AGREES TO LOSE HIS/HER RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL OF THE AGREEMENT". Section 6.2 says "All prices and fees for Digital content and Services are not refundable unless otherwise expressly noted". The cooling-off right that EU buyers expect for online purchases is waived at checkout.
A few more refund rules from the same documents:
- A refund ends your access. The terms say "Once a refund is issued, Client no longer has the access to Company's Services."
- The help center says approved refunds "may take up to 14 working days to reach your account".
- Deleting your account ends any refund claim. The account deletion article says "we won't be able to issue a refund once the account has been deleted".
- For a purchase made through Apple or Google, the company does not handle the refund. You ask Apple or Google Play.
Reviews show what an approved request often looks like. Seven of the 100 most recent US App Store reviews mention a 25% refund. One reviewer on October 22, 2025 asked within an hour of an $85 charge and wrote: "They only gave me 25% back of the $85."
If you want a refund, send the request through the help center chat or to [email protected] from your sign-up email. Attach screenshots of the fault and quote the product description that it failed to match.
Auto-renewal: the 48-hour rule and the renewal price
Section 5.7.2 of the terms says that unless you cancel, the company "will automatically renew the applicable service when it comes up for renewal". Section 5.7.1 sets the renewal period equal to the most recent service period. A three-month plan renews for three more months.
Three rules decide if a renewal charge can be avoided:
- The deadline is 48 hours before the period ends. Section 5.7.4 says the client "may elect to cancel the subscription at least 48 hours before the end of current period".
- The renewal price can differ from the first price. Section 5.7.3, quoted above, allows a higher rate.
- Canceling stops the next charge, not the current one. Section 5.7.4 says services end "upon expiration of the then current term". You keep access until then and you do not get money back for the unused part.
Three of five checked off. The cheapest-route answer comes after the cancel steps.
Five tips that follow from these rules:
- Write down the renewal date on the day you buy. A three-month cycle is long enough to forget.
- Set a reminder seven days before that date, not two, so the 48-hour limit is never close.
- Save the confirmation email and count the items on it.
- Note which checkout you used. The cancel path depends on it.
- Screenshot the offer page before paying, with the first price, the plan length and any renewal price shown.
How to cancel Perfect Body
The path depends on where you paid. The help center cancel article lists three.
Bought on perfectbody.me or through its checkout
- Open the Manage Your Subscription page.
- Log in with your account details. The article warns that "Emails and passwords are case-sensitive".
- View your subscription status and cancel there. Screenshot the confirmation.
If you have more than one active item, cancel each of them. The reviewer quoted earlier found that their coaching add-on stayed active after they thought they had canceled everything.
Bought through Google Play. Cancel in your Google account using Google's steps.
Bought through the App Store. Cancel in your Apple account using Apple's steps.
The terms are clear about mixing these up. Section 5.7.5 says that a website subscription cannot be controlled "through the Apple App Store or Google Play". Section 5.7.6 says "deleting the app does not cancel the subscriptions". The help center gives the practical version: "If you can't find the option to cancel on the Perfect Body website, check the App Store or Google Play instead".
One more option exists. The account deletion article says "Deleting your account automatically cancels your subscription, unless it was purchased through Google Play or the App Store." Deletion is permanent and ends any refund claim, so request the refund first.
Cooking from the plan is the part you are paying for
What you get for the money
The App Store description lists the product:
- A meal plan built from your quiz answers, with diet styles that include "vegetarian, Mediterranean, keto, low-carb, balanced, and more"
- "over 1,000 nutritious, easy-to-make recipes"
- A shopping list and daily habit challenges
- Trackers for mood, sleep, water intake and steps, with HealthKit sync on iPhone
- Home workouts without equipment, as a paid extra
The app gives you a plan to follow, and it is weak as a food log. One App Store reviewer wrote that it "doesn't allow you to log a meal you have chosen on your own", which matters if you eat out or cook family recipes. If you want a week of simple meals without a subscription, our no-cook meal plan for a week is free to read, and our roundup of weekly meal plan apps compares paid planners.
What users say about billing and the app
I read the 100 most recent US App Store reviews, dated April 14, 2025 to September 21, 2026. Sixty-one gave one star and 29 gave four or five stars. Fifty-five of the 100 used a billing word such as charge, refund, cancel, renew or subscription, and 49 of those 55 were one-star reviews.
That sample is recent written reviews only. The overall rating is higher: 4.3 from 6.9K ratings on the App Store and 4.4 from 6.29K reviews on Google Play, where the app shows more than 100,000 downloads. On Trustpilot Perfect Body holds 2.8 from more than 2,200 reviews, and the page notes the company "Replied to 100% of negative reviews".
The complaints repeat two themes:
- Charges after canceling. A Trustpilot reviewer wrote on June 4, 2026: "I canceled on May 8th, and then was charged again, in June." They report getting a full refund only after opening a PayPal case.
- Partial refunds. An App Store reviewer on June 9, 2026 wrote that the company "refunded me $5 out of $50".
Reviews are self-selected, and angry customers write more often than content ones. I read the pattern as a checkout design problem. The recipes get praise, and the complaints are about several items sold in one flow, each renewing on its own, with a cancel page that sits outside the app.
What the research says about personalized meal plans
Perfect Body sells two ideas: a plan made for you, and an app that keeps you on it. Published research supports the first idea in part.
On personalization, a systematic review in Advances in Nutrition (Jinnette et al., 2021) looked at 11 randomized trials with 57 to 1,488 participants. It concluded that dietary intake "is improved to a greater extent" in people given personalized advice than in people given general advice. The trials measured what people ate, not weight lost.
One more paper matters before a long prepaid plan. A meta-analysis of 17 studies of health apps for chronic conditions (Meyerowitz-Katz et al., 2020) found a pooled dropout rate of 43%. If close to half of users stop, a six-month or twelve-month prepayment only pays off if you are in the group that keeps going.
My reading of these two papers: a plan fitted to your tastes can improve what you eat, and the hard part is still using the app in month three.

Who Perfect Body is worth paying for
Perfect Body fits a narrow group well:
- You want a full menu prepared for you and you enjoy cooking from recipes.
- You have the grocery budget for fresh and varied ingredients.
- You are comfortable declining add-on offers and canceling on a website.
It fits poorly if you want to log your own meals, if you cook for a family from a fixed budget, or if you dislike prepaying for months. For a meal planner with a free tier and public prices, see our Eat This Much pricing guide. For another quiz-priced meal plan with similar refund terms, see our Klinio pricing guide.
Perfect Body's terms say in section 12.2 that the company "is not a medical organisation and cannot give the Client any medical advice". People with diabetes, kidney disease, an eating disorder history or a pregnancy should speak with a doctor before starting a weight loss plan.
How to buy Perfect Body without losing money: 5 steps
This is the cheapest-route answer I promised. On paper, the lowest yearly price is the App Store 12-month item at $39.99, against $588 for the website one-month offer over a year. The catch: you do not pick the price. The company sets the website offer after the quiz, and Apple lists three 12-month items without saying which one you will get. A store purchase does give you one clear benefit. Apple or Google holds the subscription, so you cancel in your store account, and the add-on problem on the website cancel page does not apply.
- Pick the checkout on purpose. A purchase inside the iPhone or Android app is managed, canceled and refunded through Apple or Google. A website purchase is managed only on perfectbody.me.
- Decline every add-on you do not want. Read each screen after the plan price. Workout plans, coaching and other extras are separate purchases, and reviewers report that each one can renew on its own.
- Screenshot the offer and the receipt. Capture the first price, the plan length, the renewal date and every line on the confirmation email.
- Test everything in the first 30 days. Open the meal plan, the shopping list and the trackers. If something is faulty or not as described, report it through the help center chat or [email protected] with screenshots inside 30 days.
- Cancel every line a week before renewal and keep proof. Use Manage Your Subscription on the website, at least 48 hours before the period ends, and save the confirmation screen and email.
Tracking food with a free tier
If your goal is knowing what you eat, a food tracker costs less than a prepaid meal plan. NutriScan, the app my team makes, has a Free plan with 5 AI food scans a week and a Premium plan at about $59 a year, and the plans are listed without a quiz in our pricing breakdown. You photo-scan or type the meals you already eat, with the scan cap shared across both, and Premium adds a 28-day diet plan. It is a tracker with a plan feature, so it does not replace the recipe-first menu Perfect Body sells.

Bottom Nav > Home
You take a photo of a meal, tag the food type and cooking method, and the app estimates calories, protein, carbs and fat. Our meal scan guide shows the steps, and the macro calculator sets a daily target first.

Home > Camera Icon > Click Picture
For refund wording across similar subscriptions, see our guide to fasting app refund rules.
Bottom line
Final scoreboard: prices are public only in the stores, a year costs anywhere from $39.99 to $588 depending on the checkout, add-ons are separate and each can renew, refunds need proof of a fault within 30 days, and cancelling on the website means one pass per item. If you buy, buy deliberately, screenshot everything and set the reminder.
Perfect Body pricing FAQ
Is Perfect Body free?
No. The app is free to download, and the meal plan needs a paid subscription. The US App Store lists plans from $19.99 for 1 month to $79.99 for 12 months, and the workout program is a separate $14.99 purchase.
How much does Perfect Body cost per month?
The App Store lists a 1 month plan at $19.99. Longer plans cost less per month: the 6 months plan at $51.99 works out to about $8.67 a month. On the website the price appears after a quiz, and a Forbes Health reviewer was shown $49 for one month and $84.99 for three months.
Does Perfect Body have a free trial?
Not as a standing offer. The terms allow trials "at a special price or without payment" and say billing starts on the first day after the trial ends. The Forbes Health reviewer was offered a paid seven-day plan at $24.99.
Can I get a refund from Perfect Body?
Only if you can show the product was faulty or not as described, within 30 days of purchase and with visual proof, per the refund article. Changing your mind does not qualify. Apple and Google handle refunds for purchases made in their stores.
How do I cancel Perfect Body?
For a website purchase, log in at perfectbody.me/client/login, open Manage Your Subscription and cancel each active item at least 48 hours before the period ends. For a store purchase, cancel in your Apple or Google account. Deleting the app does not cancel anything.
